Online Bakery - Zaro's Bread Basket
Zaro's Bread Basket and online bakery is a third generation family-owned and operated business begun in 1927 when Joseph Zaro arrived at Ellis Island from Eastern Europe. By 1976 his sons, Phil and William had built the business to a 20 store chain in the most critical and competitive market in the world. In 1977, the company opened its Grand Central Station store which paved the way for a store in Pennsylvania Station, the Port Authority Bus Terminal and many others making Zaro's a household name in the New York Metropolitan area. The pedestrian traffic passing directly by Zaro's stores is in excess of 1.5 million people per day,
Zaro's manufactures all of its own products at a large plant in the Bronx. Our stores receive deliveries of fresh baked products twice daily and our online bakery customers receive products that are fresh and delicious. Zaro's customers enjoy everything from bagels and babka to rugelach and cookies.
Zaro's has built its reputation of 75 years on high quality food at a reasonable price. If you're looking for Zaro's baked goods wholesale, then follow this link for info on our new division called Zaro's Bakery Wholesale.
